While living in Berlin, Samira initiated her Bachelor of Arts degree in Visual Communication in 2020 at the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam, where she is currently enrolled. During the winter semester of 2022 — 2023, she was awarded a scholarship by the DAAD, which enabled her to undertake a semester abroad at the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem. At Bezalel Academy, Samira attended classes in the Visual Communication Department, including a motion class and a multi-scripted lettering class, as well as classes in the Photography Department. Upon returning to Berlin, she continued to develop her interest in photography, animation, and lettering. Since 2024, Samira has been a member of the Typostammtisch Berlin Team. Her photographic work “The Holy Land” was awarded the “Deutscher Jugendfotopreis 2024” and a silver medal by “Deutscher Fotobuchpreis 24|25”.
